URL Encoder Decoder was built to be the fast, clear, privacy-first tool that URL encoding and decoding deserved: no ads cluttering the page, no server round-trip, and no ambiguity about which mode you're in.
Why we built this
Existing URL encoder and decoder tools tend to fall into two categories: bare-bones utilities from another era, or developer tools weighed down with unrelated features. We wanted a single, focused page that does one job extremely well — converting text between readable and percent-encoded form — with a modern, mobile-friendly interface and clear labeling of whether you're encoding or decoding at every moment.
What we care about
Speed, clarity, and privacy. The tool processes everything locally in your browser, works on any device, and is built with Astro for a lightweight, fast-loading page with minimal JavaScript.
